Residency Status

An applicant who is successful in gaining a place as a fee-paying international student in the Joint Medical Program at the University of Newcastle should be aware that it is a condition of continued enrolment in the program that their visa status at the census date in each semester remains that of an international student. Conversion to permanent resident status will result in the student losing their status as a fee-paying international student.
