Pre-Master’s Program

CIE’s specialised Pre-Master’s Program (2 trimesters) and Pre-Master’s Program Accelerated (1 trimester) are both credit-bearing programs where students gain 30 credit points towards their chosen Master’s degree at the University of Newcastle. As well as getting an introduction to your chosen speciality, you will undertake English language tuition, and develop your study skills, problem solving and communications skills, Successful completion of a Pre-Master’s Program and Pre-Master’s Program accelerated allows students to progress into the second trimester of their chosen Master’s degree, without the need to provide any additional test results (e.g. IELTS) when transitioning to the University.
